Introduction.. It's lovely to meet you!

Hey there! I am Shayma, the name and face behind Creative Sparklez.
First of all, thank you for choosing to join me on my journey to spread sparkles of joy around the world. Because let’s face it, our world needs plenty of that right now.
Since this is my very first blog post, i would like to introduce myself and start from the very beginning. Are you ready?? Buckle up buttercup ;)

I was born and raised in Dubai, the city of glam and bling bling. That’s probably how my love of sparkles became part of who i am. I graduated with a Bachelor of Information technology, then very quickly realized it’s not for me! Since i loved kids dearly, i decided to teach IT in school. I did that for a couple of years and loved it, but still felt something is missing. I very soon got inspired to try cake decorating and i fell in LOVE! That made me discover how creative i am and my love for handcrafted and personalized items just exploded.

Fast forward a couple of years, I got married had 2 girls and HOLY, the accessorizing has begun. When my girls were little i struggled to find matching accessories to their outfits. I spent weeks trying to match bows with their dresses for special events, birthdays, weddings, parties etc. And i always ended up buying whatever is available in the store. Then i had to find accessories that matched my outfit. And to all you mamas out there know the struggle is real!! shopping with little kids can turn into a disaster very quickly! :D

In 2016 i moved to Canada permanently with my family, I won’t lie to you, it was tough and very challenging at the beginning. I then started designing accessories as a creative outlet for myself to keep me busy and grounded. Creative Sparklez was born and very soon it became like my third baby.

I decided to offer a solution to all you mamas out there. You no longer have to shop for hours to find what you need. Just simply shop from the comfort of your home or get you items customized, have the products delivered to your front door and now you can spend the extra hour or two building a fort with your little munchkins.

After 2 years of customizable designs and a very supportive customer base, I would like to say thank you to everyone that believed in me and supported my little dream.
